Classical Istanbul Tour

08:30am Pick up from your hotel to visit Topkapi Palace, with royal treasury and elegant four courts. After lunch, proceed to the Hagia Sophia, a great Byzantine architectural masterpiece, whose interior is resplendent with golden mosaics. Then admire the delicate design and Iznik tiles of the Blue Mosque. Explore the ancient Roman Hippodrome with Egyptian Obelisk and Serpentine Column. Finally, stop off at the dazzling Grand Bazaar with over 4000 shops. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel at around 5:00pm.

What to Visit

Ephesus Library : According to recent excavations, the site was occupied as early as the late Neolithic period and developed through the Bronze and Iron Ages. It has been built in the areas of Ephesus on a flat area which has over the centuries turned into a swamp. Indeed, she may have come in the area together with Saint John Isabey Mosque, Isa Bey Mosque is one of the most delicate examples of Seljukian architecture, situated below the basilica of Saint John. Ephesus Museum, Ephesus Archaeological Museum is located in Selcuk, which is 70km away from Izmir, where Ephesus ancient city is found.

After breakfast pick up from your hotel drive to Pergamon

Pergamum Acropolis, Once you enter the open air Archeological museum of Pergamum Ancient city Pergamon, Pergamum,Built on a conical hill rising 1,000 feet above the surrounding valley, Pergamum (or Pergamon) was an important capital city in ancient times.

Pergamon Acropolis, where the ruins of Zeus Altar can still be seen today. The Acropolis is situated high above the plain and has a unique panoramic view. The very narrow and steep theater on the hillside could seat up to 10,000 people. Parchment paper was first produced in Pergamon. We will visit the remains of the Great Library, which rivaled the one of Alexandria in Egypt, the palaces of the kings, and temple of Trajan. Visit the Asclepion, which was known as the first place of medical science. Galen, who originated from Pergamon and became the most famous doctor of his time, treated his patients here

At the end of the tour you will be transferred to Izmir airport. Fly to Istanbul.
